Theatre

The origins of theatre in our Commission come from the sixties through Vicente Félix Latorre. In those years, Vicente performed some works in Valencian with a group of young people from the orchard and the Malvarrosa in the Parish of Vera, but there were few people for the performances.

For this reason, "El tio Félix", a great lover of this genre and who, apart from being President of the Falla, was a theatrical director, managed to convince a large group of young Fallas artists such as Jose Barragan, Rosa Blanch, Jose Blanch and Miguel Sancho, who already at the end of the 70s became part of the the theatrical group, representing two works per session such as "Retrates al Viu", "De rebound", "El Gallet de Favareta", "Fieras Mansas", "Nelo Bacora" and a long etc, where"La Bellea Fallera", "Sangre Gorda" and "A la teua reixa"stand out, the latter represented on numerous occasions in several eras with different actors and which was awarded numerous times.

Subsequently, new falleros appear to join this activity, already exclusively formed by falleros and falleras of our Commission who were participating throughout the years still led by Vicente Felix, Salvador Romero and later by Manuel Valero.
